Some days I wonder....

I wonder....

Why are "mothers day out" days so short and cold, wintry days in doors with a toddler last so long?

If the people at Costco bought my "I need to find his mom and give him back" story when Caleb threw a tantrum.

What is the fascination with leaves and why does Caleb have to mulch every one he sees.

Why will Caleb readily drink his bath water but won't touch a sippy cup with cold, icy CLEAN water?

Why do some women look at you like you are the worst mom in the world when your child throws a tantrum and most men will be so sweet about it. I mean, seriously, most moms have been thru that, right?

Why do the same moms cut you off with their grocery cart when they can clearly see you are trying to chase down your two year old? Aargh!!!!

Why do they put a $500 Lightning McQueen bed, a $350 4-wheeler, and a $100 remote control car out on display where the kids can play with them but all the books are sealed shut?

Can you tell I just returned home from Costco?

Why does Caleb clearly and loudly say things you don't want him to say in public but the things you want other people to hear are said in a regular tone and maybe not as clear?

If the person standing in front of us knew Caleb was talking about them when he said "stinks, mama...stinks".

Because he is your child, the old
saying like mother like child is
so true. Oh, and he is also 2!
Love Ya Gracie and my grandson
would not do these things really.
He is a sweet little lovable sweet
little boy. LOL he really is but
he is also just like his mother.
